Qatar Museums announced new ticket pricing for entry to all of its world-class museums, galleries, exhibitions, and heritage sites, showcasing its dedication to providing accessible and affordable cultural experiences for all.
Qatar Museums confirmed that entry to all venues and heritage sites, including temporary exhibitions, will remain free on the presentation of a valid QID to all residents and citizens of Qatar.
Effective from May 31, 2023, the National Museum of Qatar, Museum of Islamic Art, and 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum will have a ticket price of 50 QAR for non-residents of Qatar, providing visitors access to permanent collections as well as any exhibitions on show.
In addition, Matha: Arab Museum of Modern Art, located in Education City, and admission to heritage sites, including Al Zubarah Fort will now be free of charge for both residents and non-residents of Qatar.
Furthermore, to ensure accessibility for everyone, the new concession pricing will provide a 50% discount for nonresident students and large groups (25+), while children under 16, Qatar Museums employees, ICOM members, visitors to gift shops, café/restaurants, and participants of school and university tours will be able to access Qatar Museum's arts and cultural offering free of charge.
