The third phase of the Qatar Kite Festival 2025 has commenced at the Old Doha Port, bringing a spectacular showcase of vibrant kites and engaging activities for visitors of all ages. The festival, organized by Visit Qatar, runs until January 25, marking the conclusion of this year’s celebration that began at Sealine Beach on January 16 and continued at Sheraton Park.
A Sky Full of Color
The festival features over 60 international professional kite flyers from countries like Germany, Thailand, Malaysia, the United States, Bahrain, Kuwait, Tunisia, and China. Their breathtaking aerial displays have captivated audiences and added to the event’s growing popularity.

Beyond the stunning kites, the festival offers an array of activities to ensure a memorable experience:

This year, the festival’s venue at Old Doha Port offers an enhanced experience. Renovated in 2022 during Qatar’s FIFA World Cup preparations, the port now features the Grand Terminal, a hub for cruise ships arriving during the winter season from November to April.
