Qatar to Host FIFA Arab Cup 2025 and FIFA U-17 World Cup 2025
FIFA has officially announced the dates for two major international tournaments set to take place in Qatar later this year. The FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 will run from December 1 to December 18, with the final coinciding with Qatar National Day. Meanwhile, the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 will be held earlier, from November 3 to November 27.
This will mark the second consecutive time that Qatar hosts the FIFA Arab Cup, following the success of the 2021 edition. His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth and Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, highlighted Qatar ongoing commitment to uniting the region through football.
Qatar will once again bring football fans together from across the Arab world and beyond, celebrating the sport in our football-loving nation. The FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 will ignite passion among millions of fans, while the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 provides young talents with a global platform to shine, said H.E. Sheikh Hamad.
The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2025 will feature 48 teams for the first time, with 104 matches played over just 25 days. This tournament has historically launched the careers of some of football greatest stars, and this edition will be closely watched to see which young players emerge on the global stage.

The FIFA Arab Cup 2021 was a resounding success, drawing passionate fans and delivering thrilling football action. The tournament concluded with Algeria defeating Tunisia 2-0 in the final at Al Bayt Stadium.
